About Me

Throughout my life, I've always been found creating in some capacity. Whether it's been building scenes with legos, creating sand sculptures or building functional furniture, it's safe to say that I've been artmaking throughout my whole life. As an Asian American woman, finding my voice did not come easily to me. Naturally, I turned to the arts. Entranced in every drawing and painting, I find that my art reveals a raw reflection of who I am.
I believe that the practice of making art for myself has fueled my life, and I want to help others do the same by becoming an art therapist. Through my studies in Clinical Psychology combined with my practices in studio art, I've seen just how important the intersection of art therapy really is. As you can see, I love to explore and dive deeply into mediums of all sorts. I hope to gain a plethora of experiences that will inform my practice as a future art therapist.
